as a documentary wedding photographer, i strive to create environments that are relaxed and safe for my couples to be fully themselves. my clients are the kind who want to be present at their own wedding, not just posed in front of a camera all day or shuffled around from backdrop to backdrop. it’s important to me that you get to experience your own wedding day — laughing with your friends on the dance floor, sharing a conversation with your grandparents at dinner, having a drink at your own cocktail hour.
my deepest desire is to make images that you will look back on decades from now and feel transported to that moment in time. the kind of images that you keep in your nightstand, taped on your bathroom mirror, folded up in your car’s sun visor. ones your children and their children and their children’s children look through and tell stories about. little moments that you might have missed, captured quietly and unobtrusively so that you can relive them over and over again.
yes, i love to make artistic, beautiful images. but more importantly, i want to photograph you in a way that makes you feel seen and loved.
